Welcome to The Girls Room DXB ("TGR", "we", "us"). These terms outline how our community, platform, and membership work. By applying to join or using our platform, you agree to these terms.

TGR operates under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Who can join

TGR is a private community for women aged 18 and over. All applications are reviewed by our team, and we may decline an application at our discretion. We ask that you provide accurate information when you apply.

Your account

Once approved, you'll receive login details for the member dashboard. Please keep these private and don't share your account with others. If you think someone else has accessed your account, let us know straight away at support@thegirlsroomdxb.com.

Being part of the community

TGR is built on mutual respect. As a member, we expect you to:

• Be kind and respectful to everyone in the community
• Keep what's shared within TGR within TGR
• Not use the platform for spam, unsolicited advertising, or self-promotion without approval

If a member's behaviour goes against the spirit of the community, we may need to revoke their membership. We'll always try to handle things fairly.

Membership subscription

• TGR membership is AED 29 per month
• Subscribing unlocks event booking, the member directory, professionals directory, jobs board, partner perks, and the private community group
• New members are offered a 7-day free trial. Existing members who joined before the platform launch receive a 30-day free trial. A payment method is needed to start a trial, and you'll be charged AED 29/month when it ends unless you cancel beforehand

Cancellation and refunds

• We require 30 days' notice to cancel your subscription
• You'll keep access to paid features for the remainder of that 30-day period
• Subscription fees are non-refundable

Events

• Event booking is available to paid subscribers
• Spots are first come, first served, and some events may have age or capacity limits
• We may need to change event details from time to time. We'll always keep you updated
• Event tickets are non-transferable unless stated otherwise
• Please check in at events when required and follow any venue rules

Photography at events

Photography and filming take place at TGR events for use across our social channels, website, and community content. By attending an event, you acknowledge and accept that you may appear in photos or video. While we note your preference during application, this is on a best-effort basis and we cannot guarantee exclusion from all captured content.

Points and perks

• We run a points system to reward participation. Points can't be exchanged for cash
• Partner perks and promo codes are for your personal use and shouldn't be shared publicly or resold
• Partner offers are provided by the partners themselves, so their own terms may apply

Leaving TGR

You can leave at any time by cancelling your subscription and emailing us to request account deletion. Your data will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy.

Updates to these terms

If we make meaningful changes, we'll let you know via email or through the member dashboard.

Governing law

These terms are governed by UAE law. If a dispute arises, we'll always try to resolve things informally first. If that's not possible, the matter would be referred to the courts of Dubai.
